Marlies E.V.A.
Marlies And Many Others,
because we build the city together!
About me
A short introduction here, online. If you want to know more, feel free to email your questions or let’s meet in person.
After working for about 17 years at a social housing corporation in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, I made the transition in 2020 to work as an independent consultant. Since then I have been working for various clients on all kinds of issues, but always related to housing: livable neighborhoods, consulting on how to organize neighborhood-oriented work, tackling homelessness and housing projects or policy for focus groups. In short: working on the future of the city, with livable neighborhoods and a home for everyone. That is what I like to commit to. Together with the client, residents and all stakeholders in the city, neighborhood or relevant for the housing project.
My motto is incorporated in my company name, which translates as follows, Marlies A.M.O.:
Marlies And Many Others, because we are building the city together!
By working for various municipalities, corporations and welfare and care organizations throughout the Netherlands, I always take new experiences and knowledge with me to the next assignment. I also regularly contact people I have worked with before, to share new insights & ideas. Every city, every neighborhood and every issue has its own specific challenges, but there are also many similarities. Let’s learn from and with each other.
Services
I work on issues regarding livable cities and neighborhoods and housing policy or projects. If you like to know more, please contact me. I’m happy to answer any questions. If my experience and qualifications don’t match with your challenge, or when I’m not able to meet the required time frame for a new assignment, I might know of other, suitable consultants or project managers.
